yes.. because I'm a big smudger... even if I lay peper down... somehow, it'll still smudge.
So I usually lighten or darken (depending ) with my scanner then clean up with whatever programs.

the hand... what a bitch.. the angle never looked right... neither did the pencil work... i drew, re-drew, erased, rushed, cheated... I learned something about myself though... I AM NOT A SHADER.. never will be, so I'll keep that as minimal as possible.
