Idea started off as something totally different... then spawned into this...
I like parts of it... but as a "whole" whole... I dunno... but because I don't.. I kinda do.... ....
The legs were intended not to make much sense... but when I finished them, them being the last thing.. I realized that with the way this picture turned out.. that they shoulda made a little sense... cause then maybe the picture might've... ... also...
shit.. .. did you get any of that??
and if you did.. then we should get married.. cause this is my 80 proof ramble.... special/special...
Ok.. I'm gonna stop now.. anything further.. I'll just comment on myself...
oh... no editing.. yeah for me.. that was a feat!! Buit in all honesty.. this pic deserved all its GLORY!!
I've always loved your pencil work, perhaps it's because you do a lot of crosshatching, who knows? It's definately an intersting angle. I really enjoy the face and hand for some odd reason. Well done
thanks...
none of it was supposed to connect.. but then.. it looks like the head and feets do, which makes it look totally out of proportion... that's really the only thing that gets me...
I wanna give it another go though.. but like with a plant for the head..
hahahaaa... I've only ever been in one art class in my life and that was in grade nine.. and that day, we had to shade four circles... four differrent ways... and I only had time to finish one... crosshatching...
it's all I know... I sometimes do that finger blending shit... but in all honestly, I have no skills when it comes to drawing.. i just make a lot of the shit up!
"perhaps, it's because you do a lot of crosshatching..."
why?? is that how you do it too?
I actually dont' do cross-hatching, but it's harder to do in my opinion. I think it adds a lot of interest to a piece, because it adds texture.
Sometimes it's better not to take classses. Then you're not "corrupted" by your teacher's methods. You make things up, which is great. Not worrying about technique, and just going in there and doing it is awesome.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
